As Mount Abu is the only hill station in the entire state of Rajasthan, every year in the early weeks of June a Summer Festival is organized here. Train is the best way to reach Mount Abu. Following is the list of trains with all the details which will take you to Abu Road directly from Borivali. Mount Abu is 27 Kms/45 minutes drive from Abu Road. There are a lot of buses and shared taxis available to Mount Abu from Abu road.

You can take a train/bus from Bhavnagar to Ahmedabad. Mount Abu is well connected to Ahmedabad. There are daily trains from Ahemadabad to Abu Road which is around 27 kms from Mount Abu. It takes 3 to 41/2 hrs to reach to Abu Road by Train.From Abu road its a 45 minutes journey by road. It takes around 5 hrs to reach Mount Road by bus from Ahemadabad. Theer are Unmetered taxis available for local transportation within the city. The summer season starts mainly from April to the Mid June. During this time as most of the other major tourist destinations of Rajasthan reach the very hot temperature around 40 degree C or more at Mount Abu the temperature does not exceed 35 degree C. Summer Season in Mount Abu attracts thousands of tourists to the town, as most of the schools are closed for vacations and it is the only ideal destination in Rajasthan during this period. May and June make the major tourist seasons when the tourists come from all parts of western and Northern India.

Mount abu is very well connected to Jaipur by Road and Railways. There are daily buses running from Mount abu to Jaipur. Rajasthan Roadways has a daily AC bus from Mount Abu to Jaipur at 6.30 pm. It takes around 12 hrs to reach Jaipur. There are many private buses also operating on the route. Jaipur is very well connected from Abu Road by rail.

Jaipur would be hot in May around 40 Deg.

you can go mt abu from udapur by private luxary coach which is very easily avilable from udaipur. or you can choose state transpot or you can take atrain from thier upto aburoad than from there mt abu is only 20km i think bus will be good bz jorney time is only 4 to 5 hrs you may choose various hotel in mt abu it is not problem contact Kiomoi for hotel reservation there is plenty of hotels availbale ther.

You can take train or bus easily from bombay to ahmedabd from ahmedabad you can extend ur journey by train up to aburoad which is only 20 km from mt abu from aburoad you can also get many taxies or buses for mt abu you can also find some train from bombay to direct aburoad also.

you can also get govt buses from st stand gitamandir ahmedabad upto aburod or mt abu easily so after coming it is easy to go mt abu i think this info will be useful for you you can contact some private operator like raj travels or shrinath travels from ahmedabad i think it will be easy if you find direct train from bombay to aburoad contact railway for knowing time to train and also contact Kiomoi to find best hotel at mt abu.

You can easily go mt from baroda there many pvt bus operator are thre mt abu in baroda . 2 option you come ahmedabad from thre you get many buses for mt abu direct or for aburoad (from there mt abu is only 20km) or you come to ambaji from here mt is 50km so you can also get transport from here.

Other option is you take a train from baroda to aburoad thre are many trains availabale and you can go mt from aburaod but mt abu is on hill for going there you must go to aburoad. so if you go by your own vehicle you can take route from ahmedabad to mehsana to palanpur to aburoad to mt abu.

Once you reach to Aburoad you can easily get a taxi or a bus for Mount Abu after every interval of 10minutes.   or by train you can catch any running towards delhi or jaipur from Ahmeabad or Bombay. The cabs are running at normal prices they will take you on a guided tour for wjhole day showing various historical places temples and points and they charge very normal. you will get the cab at 100rs per person from the bus stand with one guide for whole bus.
