State Transport buses of Maharashtra and Gujarat ply between Nasik to Saputara. A fact to be bear in mind is that Saputara is only served by State Transport buses and not luxury or private vehicles. Only best way out is to change buses via Ahwa and reach Saputara. Buses for Saputara depart from Tahkkar bus stand in Nasik. You will get this bus in the morning. This is the most convenient way to go from Nashik.

It is a two hour taxi journey by Taxi. Taxi journey costs around Rs.800 to Rs.1200 depending on your negotiating skills and the other opportunities on the taxi drivers' horizon at that point of time. The taxi stand is near the bus stand. If you are going to go to Nashik by train, ensure you let the rikshaw-driver know that you want to go to the taxi stand near the bus-stop - CBD. There are three taxi-stands in Nashik, so make sure you identify the right one.

By road is the best way to reach there from anywhere in Gujarat.(Or raech to Valsad or navsari by train and catch Buses for Saptara. there is no sanctuary in Saputara but destinationas are Saputara lake, Shabridham temple and Vaghai falls in Saputara. There are some good hotels and resorts like Veity resort, Hotel Shilpi, hotel toran and some other.

1. Purna Sanctuary: Situated at Mahal, 60 kms, north of Dangs, the sanctuary is crossed by Purna and Gira rivers. There are bamboo lined pathways for trekkers. Prior permission is necessary for visiting.
2. Boating: The Saputara Lake surrounded by greenery makes it pleasurable to sail in the lake in a row or paddle boat.
3. Sunrise Point: It is a point which offers the best view of Saputara and adjoining Malegoan could be reached after a walk of 1.5 km in the direction of Waghai. The naming restricts the tourist traffic to this best place as tourists believe that the point should only be visited at sun rise, however, one may visit it at any time of the day to catch a panoramic view.
