Due to its religious inclinations, Dwarka has numerous temples as sites of attraction. The Vaishnav temple of Dwarakadhisa, also known as Jagat Mandir, was made in the 16th century, 12.19 meters above sea level. The Trivikrama form of Vishnu or Dwarkadeesh is the main deity worshipped here. Apart from this much renowned historical temple, there are also lighthouses and lakes in Dwarka, such as the lighthouse at the Dwarka point or the Dwraka peninsula is 70 feet above sea level and is visible from 10 miles away. The Gopi Talab lake is another interesting site. Bet Dwarka, however, is the highlight of the place, which is an island on the Arabian Sea coast of Dwarka. The place is now converted totally into a tourist area by incorporating scuba diving and other sea sports arrangements. The Shivrajpur Beach is yet another beautiful sea beach, 14.5 km away from the Dwarka Railway station; it is among the eight Indian beaches to have received the Blue Flag Beach certification
