Hike at Eravikulam National Park
Eravikulam National Park is requisite-visit in Munnar. The park is home to some 3000 ibex, elephants, lion-tale macaque and prominently Nilgiri Tahr (an endangered species and found at two places) and many more. Reaching Eravikulam National Park is quiet an escapade as you canÂ?t take your car directly. A good 30 min hike will make you reach the park.

Many brooks, streams, mountains, and rivulets in Munnar offer a unique delight to anglers and fishing buffs. Two major places famous with anglers are Gravel Banks and Devikulam Lake; almost at a distance of 25 km. Gravel Bank is tucked in the remote corners of Nyamakad Estate. In order to reach Gravel, visitors will have to pass from Eravikulam National Park open area and scenic lures of Nyamakad Tea Estate.
Note: Anglers must have a permit before going for sports. Also, they are expected to bring their own rods and reels. All angling enthusiasts are expected to maintain a record of all catches.
Golfing
Good news for golfers: Munnar has two Golf grounds. Set in the wooded surroundings, the High Range and Kundale Club offer excellent golfing opportunities. High Range permits to play free, but Kundale Club doesn`t allow it free of cost until you take the resort for accommodation. One must have prior permission before availing of the facility.
Helicopter Rides
The fancy of rich and wealthy, the helicopter ride at Munnar is the game of wealthy and rich. Flying over high altitude and getting a green view of all, Helicopter Flight is another chance to rope in for enchanting eyeshot of Munnar.
